My first Berg novel. Samantha, the homeless, in-debt to a loan shark, outspoken, living in her VW bug title character is a hoot. The romance and wooing scenes could have been more spicy.
This story was fun to read witth the predictable happily ever after ending. I do enjoy books that lead into othersin a series though.
This was the first book I have read by this author. It had a funny great beginning, although I admit it slowed down some towards the end. I still recommend it and I intend on reading some of the other books by this author.
Patti berg has an amazing ability to write with such intense way that makes it rather difficult to put the book down once you begin reading the story.
Wife for a Day is a sweet romance written by author Patti Berg. It's a rags to riches Cinderella story.
This is the second Patti Berg book I have read and I truly liked it. It is a "Pretty Woman" book. Poor woman, rich man. She has street smarts and he is larger than life. The secondary characters are great. Truly a good book to cuddle up with on a lazy day. I recommend it
This was my first Patti Berg novel, and it will definately NOT be my last. I fell in love with Jack myself! And Samantha Jones has to be one of the best characters I've read in a long time. She is smart, honest, hard working and a pure romantic at heart. If your looking for a romance to get completely lost in for a while, look no further. "Wife For a Day" is just the ticket ! Note to Patti Berg... Any chance of Lauren Remington getting her shot at a happy ending ?
